Does the original SCP site like us?
They seem really harsh in a thread I saw the other day but the front page says they support us

Re: SCP main site
#2They didn't seem harsh at all. The only negative comment was about the game's graphics, and if you look at the game, it wasn't far from the truth.
Hell, they said that they supported it.

#3I honestly think it's stupid to bash a game because of its graphics.
As long as you can tell what something is, it's fine.

Re: SCP main site
#5We were also responsible for CREATING Nine-Tailed fox. It was never a canon task force.officerbrokes wrote:they removed nine tail fox because we used it though
To quote some bits:
The game is only INSPIRED by the SCP wiki, and is not affiliated with us in any way.Djoric wrote:It was added by someone who thought that the game had standing here.
I think this meant it was badly written, and above reasons.Djoric wrote:It was removed because it was dumb.
As i said above, SCP wiki is purely inspiration.Joreth wrote:Fizzymcbon wrote:I see. Do you guys support SCP:CB or do you not like it?
We support it mostly but we aren't really associated with it other than us being the inspiration.
It's not officially approved or disapproved by the SCP Wiki, that news post on the front page is not only old, but more appreciating it because it's a nice gesture to make a game around this sort of community, and it's free.Scantron wrote:
We all have our own opinions on it. It's not officially supported or disavowed.
Things from the game making their way onto the site are fine if and only if they're good. MTF Nine Tailed Fox wasn't.
The thread collapsed after this post. it was offtopic and unimportant. It devolved into discussion about SCP-173 teleporting in a TF2 plugin/mod??? The hell?Fuzzymcbon wrote:
SCP-CB is the reason I joined this site lol. I downloaded the game having no clue what to expect and nearly shat myself when SCP-173 teleported right in front of me.
So:
Officer Brokes, they didn't remove NTF because we used it. It was probably badly written by a fan, and the only purpose Epsilon-11 had was for the game.
They never bashed the game for it's graphics.(Except a high karma user called crane, but that's his opinion and it's quite valid.)
NTF is plainly and simply a GAME GIMMICK. It doesn't fit very well into canon, and is very redundant/cliched. They're a "master ranking" "squad of pros".
They only bashed the game as THOSE SPECIFIC USER'S PERSONAL OPINIONS. It's not like Doctor Gears said it sucked.
Hope this clears up confusion on all this.

#6I meant it's stupid for someone to bash a game because of its graphics, not he's stupid for bashing the game because of its graphics.
Re: SCP main site
#8This. Graphics shouldn't define a game. At least not majorly. A game can have the best graphics ever but the rest can anything but the best.Cridone wrote:I honestly think it's stupid to bash a game because of its graphics.
