SCP:CB on Steam Green Light

It might be a good idea to put SCP Containment Breach on Steam GreenLight once version 1.1 is out and the majority of bugs/glitches are fixed. Even smaller horror games(Spooky's House of Jumpscares) are on Steam GreenLight. What do you guys think? Note:Make Sure Regalis sees this post.

OFF-TOPIC: Please no number sign before words thx.
ON-TOPIC: Hrm... I am kind of against the whole idea of SCP:CB being on Steam. But, really, Regalis does whatever he wants. I'm not one to stop him.

I think it's a good idea. Since, you know, you don't have to download the whole game again, and steam can just apply the updates...

Also for the fact that many more people may be able to see it, and not have their virus scanner put it as a False positive. Though, there are probably just some negatives I haven't seen, or thought of, yet.

well it could be a good idea but the bad thing is it cost money to port the game onto steam. so yeah unless he has the money and he wants to but still I would love to see it on steam but idk if he will

This is the problem.
SCP has already been damaged enough by the CB fandom and their 'ideas for cb' or bothering the actual scp-wiki.org for containment breach related reasons.
FNAF was enough to demonstrate the negative effects of popularity.

Uh, what? This doesn't even make any sense at all.

What? Even the Foundation staff themselves appreciate CB for giving their site more publicity. It's not like every single person who found the site via Containment Breach just went over and said "Oh mai gawd Cuntainwent bweech!", they actually gained a lot of good members because of it.

If anything, it might solve the inactivity in this forum. speaking of, this is the most active I've seen it in a long time...

Maybe, maybe....

Like Vulpest said, this game is nothing like FNaF. Though, it might bring new popularity to it. For some players that don't even have no clue what it is.
