Adding custom SCP's help?

#1
I know this would require coding, modeling, definitely some work and I was wondering what the necessary steps to that would be. I'm a noob at anything coding right now, but am going to be taken some C## classes hopefully around January. If without coding experience this would be too difficult, I understand. I downloaded the Blitz3D engine, and was curious if at all possible there would be a way to implement some more SCP's. For now, let's just say I would focus on more simple ones. Nothing too crazy. Any suggestions are helpful.

...and you're right. You require it to write code with the .bb files.

While I don't have any *specific* advice, I do recommend learning a bit of the language using the dictionary inbuilt into the program (and on the site).

That's kind of an extreme project for a flat out beginner.

I would suggest not working with some one else's code for your first time coding. It's nothing but frustrating and hard to understand, even for seasoned coders. Instead, you should attempt to start your own small project using either B3d or some other engine (probably one that's a little more lenient with syntax like Gamemaker) to get a feel for coding in general.

That said, coding isn't hard. The best way I can describe it is math that you ask questions. But there is a slight learning curve where nothing makes sense for a short while, but then suddenly everything just clicks, and it become the easiest thing ever. So, just stick with it, and I hope you find it enjoyable.
