A way to make 096 better.

SCP-096 usually uses the easiest path to SCP-096-1, so why not have him break through walls, doors, and if in a high up room like the electrical room, floors?
He could have a chasing noise which is WAY more human. He could also be much faster, you are ment to die in the game if you see him anyways.

That'd require a ton of scripting to make destructible environment for each room, and etc. Plus, he already tears open doors (though he doesn't destroy them). And wouldn't it just be easier for him to run up the stairs then to burrow into a ceiling and climb through the flooring?

His chasing sounds do use human screaming, I don't really understand how they could be more human. Unless you mean the background audio, which is more or less music to accompany him screaming. I do agree with the last point, however, it seems he changes speeds based on framerate, (I've seen him run at incredible speeds on a video with quite high FPS and it was terrfiying) you might just have a lower framerate. Nonetheless, he should be a bit faster, people tend to evade him easily.
It slep time bunner.

The article shows a speed of CENSORED km/h, so i'd imagine he go faster than 173.
Also the only scream in the freakout is at the end.
