It may be a good idea to give the MTF the SCRAMBLE goggles, since there are some sound files in the game that will probably happen when the MTF react to 096, maybe an animation for them activating them or something.

Also, have you considered giving them running animations? Remember that there are a lot of possible situations with them.

I might sound a bit dumb, but, what do you mean by "scramble goggles"?

Yeah, I'll definitely make a running animation, that's pretty much a must.

They were devices used to confront SCP-096 without being able to see it's face, some sort of goggles.

I'm pretty sure they failed didn't they? There wasn't enough delay between the blur and the brain processing the image

Ah, I read that, just didn't remember the specifics. But, one thing. Didn't the SCRAMBLE gear ended up not working, and not accepted to be used by MTFs?

But there are sound lines in the game for it ("SCP-096 spotted!...Starting SCRAMBLE gear -beep-"), SCP:CB probably takes place a lot later than that log.

But shouldn't they know that the Scramble gear is not working by then? It was mentioned several times during that one interview how they're just some pieces of crap.

You could close your eyes, gave his face go into the vision, have the goggles make a sound when they've blocked his face and open your eyes with impunity. That could be an in universe explanation.

I mean, it sounds like a rather expensive piece of equipment when one could just close their eyes in the first place.
