[Idea] What if SCP:CB was "Meant" to look like 90's game?

#1
A low-poly horror game with graphics, textures, audio in tribute to games such as System Shock 2; Half-Life & Tomb Raider? But with todays programming techniques and horror gameplay theories?

Rather than always aiming to achieve these super-realistic characters, props & models with great time and struggle; a horror game with vague dark graphics, a player trapped inside a massively randomly generated facility, with all abominations let loose.

Think of Minecraft; a game that looks like the beginning of 3D polygon games in the 80's ; Yet it was massively successful; It literally defied what gaming was focusing on entirely: graphics.

I was thinking of this today, with all the large work for models; of what games have frightened me the most in the past; and the recent steam sales of SS2. Wouldn't it be interesting if there was a horror game released with graphics like the 90's, but with all the focus on deep gameplay in 'The Today'?

Early SCP:CB reminds me of this, with 106 & 173's old models.

System Shock 2:

Thoughts? (This wouldn't defy the Unity conversion project either)

Holy shit, I'm going to have NIGHTMARES now.

So hang on.... I think I'm not getting your point here. So you're saying... that by calling the graphics of CB oldschool it will suddenly attract gaming Hipsters..?
I'm sorry, I like the basic Idea of graphic-horndogs defiling the gaming industry. But I can't see what you're getting at.
