Re: Model Requests
#264I think he said he was a student. Autodesk has a great education program, as long as you provide a valid school and some personal information you get all their software free.

#266Those are some pretty good models ya got there, Jordan!
And yes, both of those tools technically are free if you sign up for a student account. I use the same ones!

Just between me and you, they don't really check if the college has a 3D program or if you're a real student, so you could technically just sign up for any local college and they'd never know

Be afraid, users, for the most terrifying SCP of all is coming soon to a Site
  near you!
SCP-1370 AKA Doombot2000 AKA RoboLord the Destructor AKA Prime Minister Sinister AKA Patheticon the Garglemost AKA Pesterbot will haunt your dreams for years to come!
...Just as soon as I make his speakers a bit higher-res, get around to actually texturing his arms and legs, give him some normal and specular maps, actually gain permission to create my own thread etc.

#267I tried to get some of their software, but the install button was grayed out. I thought the configuration I had was bad, so I tried a bunch of different combos, but the button was still grayed out.Twisted Polygon wrote:I think he said he was a student. But alas I have millions of keys and no install.
Click on "Free Software", then "College/University", "3ds Max"

Then select your operating system and 3ds max version as in the picture. Then you have to wait like 10 seconds before the install now stops being gray and it gives you a download and a key.Hey, if you've got a minute why not check out my modeling portfolio here!

#270I'm not the right person to judge your model because I do not know exactly SCP-650 is but as far as I know the model shouldn't have feet or any obvious limb. It also should be thinner and taller. Just like this:kingjulien22 wrote:-snip-
