#512Here's a little bundle of interesting ideas I came up with that will improve the map creator.
- NPC/item placement. You could set the map creator into 3D, and spawn NPC's in certain places. You can spawn any NPC including the class-d's, 106, 173, 096, and change what kind of behavior an individual NPC has. For example, you can make it so that there could be aggressive class-d's, or a friendly 096 that follows you.
- Custom dialogue. You can give any NPC dialogue. For example, you can click on 049, click on "speech" and then you can adjust how many lines of dialogue there will be (ranging from 1 line to 100 lines). You can type down what 049 says (in this case, "I became a doctor because I LOVE doctoring!"). You can change the emotions of the dialogue, each one with different gestures (happy, sad, scared, shocked, confused, annoyed, angry, and suspicious). Then save the map. In game, clicking on 049 with the left mouse button will make 049 say "I became a doctor because I LOVE doctoring!". This will work with all other NPC's.

the foundation would NEVER keep those bodies intact, what if they had been exposed to SCP's whose properties they don't fully understand and could spread a contagion or virus or affect deceased individuals? Just as Class-D's are terminated at the end of every month in a fire and gas chamber, every single body that isn't sent to the morgue for autopsy is incinerated.
Now perhaps a Morgue by the medbay or something sounds feasible.

#516D-Class personnel aren't always sent to the morgue unless they have been through an effect that's considered unexplainable, you know this. #517did any of you watch the video in my previous post? I think that you should because it will give you an idea of the type of thing I am trying to convey. I saw the video and I decided that the game needed something like that and I thought that a morgue or an autopsy room, or perhaps an entirely different room where something really bad, though not clear what it was, recently happened and you find the evidence
would be fitting.

Ingame mechanics: Just like in the document, you find the box its contained broken in its chamber, and you see a dead guard,D-class, scientist, or even a MTF with the SCP on the corpse. As you stare at the SCP you hear your heart race, the only way to try to escape the room without making it hostile is possibly a good use for the crouching mechanic.
