Yeah, I'm thinking that it would be worse for people who don't know that it is harmless. For common players, they would just get scared when they see it, because you know its creepy as hell. However, for new players it will be hell. Image when they turn around to leave a room and they see it peering over the door for a second or two before leaving. They will shit their pants. They won't want to leave in fear of it, but they just can't stay in the room forever in case it enters and attacks. Or when they are walking through the facility and they see it passing in front of the door frame without stopping. Once again, shitting a brick. They'll turn around being all "NOPE" and they'll be all paranoid about it (which is one of the actual effects of the SCP) for the rest of the game.

can the engine handle glow effects? because i feel like having it walk past a door, stare at the player for a second, and then walk behind the frame would be more effective with glowing eyes.

Not sure, maybe you can. If not, you can always make his eyes completely white, the effect would be similar enough.

I was thinking than when it passes past the door, it doesn't stop and look at the player, it just walks past. While when peering over the door, then it'll look at the player directly. In the first case, the player would turn around and run thinking it hadn't see him. While in the second one, he'll go into full panic mode.

Perhaps, A similar trick for the Glowing Eyes Effect that Regalis uses for SCP-106 when he is a certain distance from you? The Floating Eye Sprites.

Though, With an Alpha Background, Rather than Black. You could see the Eyes from a distance in a Doorway, Watching you. As you get closer, They disappear and you just manage to see SCP-513-1 running away or so.

Holy cow, model looks excellent! Great job! Although maybe make the light grey be a bit darker? The contrast between the light grey and black looks a bit weird.

well, as it turns out the models polycount is alot higher than ii thought, and would probably crash the engine. im reuploading them.
