I don't know of any guy that would like his crotch to be penetrable.. I phrased that really badly. :? (but at least the point remains!)

Not my idea anyway. Just search "tactical armour" and see for yourself.
Some quick links for myself (and you all too).

No, but I was a user in the old forum, sort of from the beginning.
But, you modelled some things since beggining?

A bit more progress, and a very quick sketch I made right now of what the helmet may look like. Opinions? (the lens [or w/e you'd like to call them] could just be rotated).

Yes, It looks suiting, I'd still like you to keep the visor instead of just 2 narrow gasmask lens though. I feel gasmask soldiers for zombie scenarios are becoming too mainstream.

One more thing I'd like to comment is to avoid having any open human skin on they're whole body. There is the risk of bio SCP's with aerosol//liquid//radioactive effects hence why some containment chambers oftentimes have a negative air pressure to avoid contamination when being opened. It'd be realistic for the MTF to have basically a Level-B hazmat suit on at least; with they're armor/padding over the top.

Should guards have less armor on them? I feel like they should.

Well I think that the MTF needs more armor. The guards are wearing about what is needed for their job a bullet proof vest riot helmet it all seems right to me.
