Just because you didn't assign the material, doesn't mean it isn't used, you CAN change textures with coding.
Think of how the two class-Ds have same model, different texture.

Actually, they have two separate models for the Class-Ds.
If you're talking about the classd1.b3d and classd2.b3d, the second is the original model that was used in the game,before 0.6.4. So yeah, the Class D's share a model, with different textures. They also share their model with the scientist in the intro.

WELL, the trees and foliage seem done, there's props and the terrain is finished. I think the forest generator is done too. The monster is mostly textured as of now and I've given a very small contribution to it. I think as soon as the monster gets animated we're set for a release.

A test release perhaps. This project is barely 50% done. I only have the tile meshes right now so I still need the foliage and finished monster. I also need some input for the monster's AI.

How detailed will foliage be?
solid model?
Or will it be performance based like the old farcry games?
