All right, now we'll just need to find someone to animate the model and it's ready to be put in the game. :)
Animations needed:
- Running
- A slower, "lurking" walking animation (for when the monster has spotted the player and slowly approaches him before attacking)
- A transition from the walking animation to running an vice versa
- A leaping animation, after which the monster swings its claws a couple of times (similar to the current leaping/attack animation of SCP-096)
I think cat-like movements would suit the model perfectly, so a tiger or some other feline might be a good source for inspiration.
The model can be downloaded here.
Re: SCP-860-1 (The Forest) [ANIMATOR NEEDED FOR THE MONSTER]
#482I think plauGen should, having seen his/her wip animations for 106. Dunno how active they are though.
Re: SCP-860-1 (The Forest) [ANIMATOR NEEDED FOR THE MONSTER]
#483Yeah, plauGen's animations have been really good, but he's been inactive for a long time I think.Skin_ wrote:I think plauGen should, having seen his/her wip animations for 106. Dunno how active they are though.
Do you think NASA invented thunderstorms to cover up the sound of space battles?
Re: SCP-860-1 (The Forest) [ANIMATOR NEEDED FOR THE MONSTER]
#484I can animate it. I learned how to animate a few months back, and I'm starting to get really good at it.
I bought a gay pony named North America! He walked on two legs and played the harmonica!

Re: SCP-860-1 (The Forest) [ANIMATOR NEEDED FOR THE MONSTER]
#488BUT! In order to animate it, I need to have it in a Blend. format. I can only animate with blender, since my computer runs on Ubuntu.

Re: SCP-860-1 (The Forest) [ANIMATOR NEEDED FOR THE MONSTER]
#489Holy shit fanart of my junk and dddddaaaawww it's so cute. But seriously I did some searching Kenneth and apparently blender can import .obj files and I can export the model as a .obj. So yeah do you think that will work? Also If anyone else has any problems that you think I might be able to help with feel free and shoot me a message.
