Well, I guess that the 372 model kinda sucks, so I thought
I would try to recreate it.
I highly doubt that this will be used officially but I still
thought it would be nice to share it with everyone.
Oh and by the way, it's very innacurate to the description and
I'm still working on it, these are older pictures.
But for a first model I made from scratch, I'm pretty proud
of it
I modelled it from the drawing above^
Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#2That looks pretty good! Pretty much all that needs doing is making it look... y'know, more "realistic." Otherwise, I like it. Keep up the good work!
Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#3Looks nice. I like how you made each pair of limbs different, makes it more realistic. Although it is a bit too blocky, and 372 is supposed to have eight pairs of limbs, aka 16 limbs.

Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#4Doesn't SCP-372 have 16 legs?... Anyways, good work.
Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#5A few things:
1. It needs 16 limbs
2. Far too simple
3. He needs to be more like a lizard, as it's creator confirmed
4. What's with those weird pincher things?

Omniary: it probably could smell you though
could probably smell your fucking dank ass nasty powersuit structure gel trog ass enslaved protein bullshit sloshing in your suit from a mile away
Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#6I did say that it was completely unfinished, I am making it look way less blocky and adding a bit more dimension to it.
And when I said that it was innacurate I meant that purely because of the lack of legs, I will add some more.
I am adding the sensory organs and I may rework the pincers.
My modelling skills have just gotten a lot better. So expect updates.
One person said it needs to be more realistic, I agree with that certainly however
I kinda suck at texturing, so expect a poor texturing job.
New pictures tommorow.
P.S: Keep in mind, this is my first model.

Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#7Ah, it does need to be more lizard like.
I will keep some insect-like features though to make it seem like some kind of
unusual hybrid.
If somebody could link me to the creator's description that would be very helpful.

Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#8Could I suggest a head like this?:
Spoiler
Both images belong to their respective authors, they're not mine, I've taken them from the old SCP-372 model thread.Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#9As much as I love those head designs, I'll show what I have done to the current head first to get some feedback on that.
And maybe there is some way of combining the two? I'll have to see.

Re: My 372 model (First model!)
#10Now, I tweaked the head a little and added so]me more 'dimension' (Is that the right word?) to it, I gave
it a bit more of an 'open' or 'pouncing' look, although I am still fully aware he is never meant to attack
the player. The body still has a lot of work to be done. Oh, the antennae are temporary, that's another part of the model for me to work on.
