I had gotten this error, too. You have to copy a new "lockroom_opt.rmesh" into the maps folder.

If that doesn't work, get a fresh copy of the game.

i have a similar problem. i downloaded the game today (8/6/15) and when i open the game it says "Error! GFX\menu\menuwhite.jpg missing" and i've downloaded the game twice now please help

There are multiple bugs like this.
I do not know how many, but there are a lot.
