#3Spoiler
tl:dr, it's about as easy to increase your fps without tinkering with video settings as it is to download more ram.Re: How do i increase fps?
#4Turn off vsync, antialiasing and anisotropic filtering, play in windowed mode, disable bump mapping, recode the game to get rid of FastText and FastExt altogether, or wait for a remake.

#5What do you mean by recode?juanjpro wrote:Turn off vsync, antialiasing and anisotropic filtering, play in windowed mode, disable bump mapping, recode the game to get rid of FastText and FastExt altogether, or wait for a remake.

#6To put it in layman-accessible words:d9346 wrote:What do you mean by recode?juanjpro wrote:Turn off vsync, antialiasing and anisotropic filtering, play in windowed mode, disable bump mapping, recode the game to get rid of FastText and FastExt altogether, or wait for a remake.
SCP: Containment Breach is made in something called Blitz3D. There are several files, and each file has words that give instructions for the game. However, these files depend on two other groups of files, named FastText and FastExt. They each have useful extra functions, but I think they slow the game down.
By rewriting the words in the files, you could possibly make your own faster versions of the two groups of files, and it might increase your FPS.

#7I think you need to go to Options and lower your graphics settings or resolution.
