#2It's because W10 is poorly optimised for old engines like Blitz.ZombieSlayer21 wrote:This is my first time posting in the forum so I don't know if I should be posting this here in the bug reports or somewhere else so i'm sorry if this isn't the right place im sorry but whenever I go to start S.C.P Containment Breach It works fine for the first few minutes but after a that it starts having lots of texture issues such as textures flickering, notes flickering, and menus flickering.I don't know whether or not it's my system so i'll leave my system specs below please try to help this game looks so good.

Re: Texture Glitches Everywhere
#4I don't think it's texture glitches, I think it's just flickering caused by v-sync. I had the same problem. Open up the options file in notepad, and find vsync. Change the 1 to a 0 to disable vsync, don't add anything extra like a space between the = and the 0 or 1 or you could mess things up.

#6Try to turn off v-sync in options.ini (change vsync = 1 to vsync = 0)ZombieSlayer21 wrote:yeah i tried everything i tried running in windowed mode and changing resolution nothing worked so farVane Brain wrote:Is it not happening in windowed mode?ZombieSlayer21 wrote:This is my first time posting in the forum so I don't know if I should be posting this here in the bug reports or somewhere else so i'm sorry if this isn't the right place im sorry but whenever I go to start S.C.P Containment Breach It works fine for the first few minutes but after a that it starts having lots of texture issues such as textures flickering, notes flickering, and menus flickering.I don't know whether or not it's my system so i'll leave my system specs below please try to help this game looks so good.

Re: Texture Glitches Everywhere
#8Yeah I'm having the same exact problem except all the textures and pretty much everything goes black and disappears but it works exactly the way it did before but now I can't see and/or do anything at all without knowing what's even happening.
Re: Texture Glitches Everywhere
#9I've added the SCP - Containment Breach application to my Steam library and booted the game up, It appears to have fixed the texture bugs but the 'memory access violation' still happens from time to time. Try it out and see if it works for you.
P.S - I've tried running with vsync = 1, and 'enable bump mapping' on, and it appears to cause the texture glitching even with Steam. Make sure vsync = 0 in the options, and turn off 'enable bump mapping'. I'll continue messing around and see if it works properly.
P.S.S - At some point I walked into a room and the textures bugged out, same with loading saves at times, I believe this is due to an SCP spawning nearby, or accessing areas that don't seem to load properly on entry. I quite to the main menu and reloaded, this seems to fix it at times, but quitting the game and reloading appears to always work.
