I'm afraid the engine the game runs on isn't currently supported by Mac and Linux, and probably won't be sometime soon, however, a C++ Conversion is in the works by Answer42, which means that such goals might be achieved. It's still in the early stages, but the work is most definitely promising.

Well, I did get it to run on my Mac not too long ago, out of nowhere, which marks the second time I've gotten it to run. Used the latest Wine dev build. Here's a vid on it, with some info in the description.
