You'd be doing a "blind" walk throughLukeDude759 wrote:Keep a derailed thread derailed by saying it's derailed. LOGIC!Capy wrote:Glitch wrote: This thread has derailed
Back on topic now. I actually did look pretty good with glasses, but I'm glad I don't have to wear them anymore. Mostly because they would tend to get bent and end up looking crooked. One lens slightly higher than the other. It kinda bothered me. And the smudges on the lens would NEVER COME OFF. I have pretty good eyesight now, but it's still not perfect. Nothing's ever too blurry, but I get this kind of "lens flare" effect when I look at small, bright lights (Thankfully, pixels don't count. How would I play Assassin's Creed if they did?).
It depends on what brand you get. Mine are very minimal, not much more disturbance than you get with normal vision.INFINITE561 wrote: You'd be doing a "blind" walk through
You basically have burning sensation because it's wrong.. You're not supposed to sleep with them, you're not supposed to take them while swimming either..LukeDude759 wrote:Burning sensations. If they are not properly sanitized, then you will have a sharp burning sensation in your eye. They sit on the liquid on the eye, not the eye itself. When you have dry eyes you must take them out, or you will have a sharp burning sensation. If you wear then while you sleep they will be moved and you will have to realign them along with having dry eyes. You receive little oxygen to your eye, so it's harder to get rid of dirt and chemicals from the eye. If you wear they while swimming, the chlorine will stick on the contact, and have a lasting burning sensation in your eye.
Glasses for 4 years, contacts for 2 years, still going on. I prefer them to glasses though, after putting them in that you can just forget about them for 8 hours. Max record of keeping them in is 11 days. After wearing them a long time, you can start keeping them in overnight, although it's probably not good for you. Contacts can also scratch your eye, I had mine checked after the 11 days, no scratches. The only time they suck is putting them in, or if you have a problem. You can live with one contact, but if it's your primary eye you need to close it or you can get a really bad headache.
I prefer contacts over glasses by a long-shot.
Oh, and if you have problems just get REALLY close to a mirror.
If you get contacts, they will walk you through the entire maintenance process.
You keep them in a case with a sterile saline solution, and it cleanses and hydrates your contacts.
Every month you insert new contacts.
Need any help, just question the internet or PM me. I recommend you try them for a month or two months. And just remember, the longer you have them the better the experience gets.
If I ever need eye correction, I'll just get laser eye surgery. As long as they don't use a laser designed to cut or burn (Lol, what are the chances of that?), it's better than contacts or glasses.
I don't have the burning sensations though. I can leave them in for 2 weeks straight without any problems, but I'd rather not try to push it that far.Léonard wrote: You basically have burning sensation because it's wrong.. If it burns you when you put them, it's because they were not properly put in the case with the solution or that your hands are dirty or something.. It's not a pain for me to put them, it takes me 3 secs..
