Oh my god, Who can do it?

I attempted to draw a fox due to having a conversation with two friends who are amazing artists.

Here are the results:

(Note that i am turning 18 in 2 months and am completely functional in my limbs)

You just need more practice, also it'll be a lot easier to draw foxes on the PC if you buy one of those art tablet things you can connec tot the PC and draw on
A true friend is somebody who stands by you and comforts you when you feel down, this is why I love fridge raiders

That, my friend, is called 1337 H4x00r sKi11z. Art skills aren't real, it is just people hacking the Matrix.

But yeah, not everyone has instantaneous art skills. Some people can draw since the beginning, and others need to practice a lot.

It all depends on what tools you use and which Programs too.

You proved that you could draw really great stuff when you showed us that Sword you did ages ago.

I belive that was done by Hand, If I recall.

As for Digital Art, You just need to find what is comfortable and the right applications too.

Some use a Mouse on a PC. Some use a Laptop [ Me ]. And some use Drawing Tablets.

As for Applications, You could go for Photoshop... GIMP... Paint.NET.

Whichever Art Program has the right feel to it.

All of my stuff is 100% Paint.NET. It has just the right about of Plugins and you can even download more.

I found GIMP too heavy for my tastes. Photoshop was a bit more excessive on features that I would never use such as the Filters.

I've heard Paint Tool SAI is pretty good. I have it but haven't used it really.

For me, I recommend Paint.NET. Of course, It is all up to what you think is best.

You can even draw a Fox using a Pencil, Scan it in and draw over it digitally.

Like Spartan said, It takes time to develop Skills though. I've been drawing since I was a Child but that was Traditional Art.

I only started Digital Art properly in 2011. When I look back at my first Digital Drawing and compare it to my latest Image, I really can see a difference in style, resolution and techniques used. I'm sure you will do great stuff once you get into what you find best.

If you go into Digital Art, Which I seriously recommend, Then here are some tips.

- Layers are your Friends! Don't be afraid to mess around with Opacity or Blend modes for them.

- Use Thin Lines unless Thick Lines are part of your unique style. I find thin lines less distracting myself.

- Only go for Resolutions that your PC / Laptop can handle! Don't constantly go for 10, 000 by 10, 000 Images. Your PC might risk crashing. Paint.NET ended up using 7 GB of Memory while I was drawing the latest linked Image shown above.

- Use Line Tools [ If possible ] Rather than the Paintbrush or Pencil If you find it hard to move the mouse around. Paint.NET's Line Tool let's you reshape the line at four various points.

- Only use more Layers If you really need to. The more Layers = More Memory being used. One of my Images used around 500 Layers. Needless to say, It wasn't a pleasant experience.
