HALP! I've just made an atari game for steelpoint but when i run the game within the Stella emulator (the game was made in visualbb, so it saved a bin file for people who want to play the game in the emulator), blackness shows up!

Are you making a game through an emulator? Isn't it smarter to make one with an engine like LÖVE 2D or something like that?
Don't take my word, though. I'm usually wrong anyway.

I made the game in VISUALBB, which allows you to create homebrew atari games, and this game is a test. I am RUNNING it thru a Atari Emulator (specifically after i compiled it and run the game to test it in VisualBB). I'll look at the code i made and correct some stuff.
