Hello agent,Dr.Murkov here,this is the SCP Roleplay Thread.here you :Make a character and...HAVE FUN!!
Here's an example of how you make a character: Name:Dr.Murkov
Years at the Foundation:4
Age:25
Clearance level:3
Appearance:Blonde hair,purple eyes,slender/muscular build.
Comments:Seems to be able to harness the ''moons rays'' for energy and ,also appears appears to go into a comatose state
on the Summer Solstice for 25 hours.

Rules: 1.Your ''character'' can have special abilities but they must be stated in the ''comments'' portion while you make your character,but you cannot pull a new power out of no-where.
2.No bullying.
3.No ''spamming''
4.Your character CAN be killed but you cannot just randomly just kill someones character.And yes,you can make another character if you get killed.
5.Yes,you can be an SCP. And SCP's can battle other SCP's.
6.You can be a ''couple'' with someone else while you roleplay,just no ''weird stuff'',if you know what I mean.
7.And...HAVE FUN!!

Allow me to start.
Dr.Murkov had just walked into his office.He started to finish his report on the behavior of :106:.When suddenly the wall to his left started to develop a black corrosive substance on it. ''What the hell''? he said to himself.The ''puddle'' grew bigger Oh :REDACTED: NO!! He opened the door to his office to warn the site director. He looked back,he saw 106 go under the floor.He kept running.106 had caught up to him,he had been cornered,He pleaded...Please,don't hurt me! PLEASE!! 106 touched his arm,it started to rot.''AGGHA''! ''Larry'' had sent him into his pocket dimension.He saw someone else...He wasn't alone...

Wow. Just wow. No offense kid, but you obviously need much more RP experience before you initiate one. You can't just throw your character into a breach (using one of the most overused SCPs there are, for fuck's sake) with no build up or character development. Plus, posts need to be well written and in detailed. Not two sentences of poorly written horse shit.

I must agree with Absence on this one. One doesn't simply RP by just doing something like this;
Someone:hello something bad is going to happen
*grabs bomb*"i aint havin this shit"*boom*
It has to be something more like this;
"My fucking head feels like shit." said Dr. Maria as she walked down one of the forked tunnels in the Light Containment Zone. The passers by glanced at Maria occasionally, though she never did give them a look back.
It wasn't until she was near her office did someone give her the pleasure of interacting with another person. "Having a bad day?" Maria turned to look at whoever it was who spoke to her. It was none other than Dr. Absence, who was smiling at her. "What gave it away?" Maria asked in a rather monotone voice.
"You complained the whole way to your office." Absence replied. "But, I'd hate to ruin your day further, but it's about to get a whole lot worse."
Frustrated, Maria refused to reply and walked into her office, closing the door behind her. "Yeah, sure. Like I'd want my day to be any worse than it already is." Maria walked over to her desk and sat at her chair. "What could even make my day worse?" She sighed rather lowly and looked ahead, waiting for the clock to read 11:00 PM, when she could stop working and rest.
Like she ever could rest. The Foundation's security made the whole place liable to have a breach at any time, and there wasn't a damn thing to be done about it unless the Mobile Task Force did something about it, or the security got off their ass and did something useful for once. "Yeah, just another day at the office." Maria mumbled to herself.

So, to simplify everything: You failed.

Not trying to pour salt on the wound or anything, but I don't see a reason to censor the truth of matter. It's a failure, that much has been established, and anyone who wants to continue to dog-pile on that point is just being a fool. The only thing to do is to move on and make sure that such failures are not repeated. Not saying that it is okay to just give up on the project though, just that one, after having made a failure, must attack the matter from a different angle.

If you're set on making this happen, I would suggest taking the advice you gained from this failure and try again. You just have to make it better, which should be simple, right?

edit: But I see you already realized that........ which makes my post rather useless, doesn't it? Well............... okay then.
