I think this forum has a godawful community as of late though, General Off-Topic seems to be the only thing blowing life into it; like a shit youtube video's comment roster or typical reddit-tard thread.

That is why people need to see this. I still believe there is a good community out there. We just need to bring them back, and convince people here what the purpose if it all is.

But I do agree with you. I liked the old forums much better, in which even the off-topic section had to do with SCP: CB. Now most of the off topic is just random topics abou random stuff that ends up dying in one or two days.

I have to say that I used to be much more active in the past. Mostly on the collaboration and the general discussion threads. But now it seems these forums are more for the off topic part than the game itself.

You know, one of the main reasons why I avoid threads like this is because they create even more unncessary feels.
Of course this doesn't count for all of us here, some need this to express themselves.

I often wonder why some members have such difficulties to simply avoid/ignore one another if they won't get along.
Instead we see "Goodbye FOREVER! I MEANZ IT!" threads and all that. Meh, I stopped reading them.

but I have been on plenty enough forums to know this place is messed up!
On other forums, idiots don't swing in left right and center to post off topic shit!
The people care about the topics and take things seriously, some light humor mixed in.
They don't winge about something they don't like, they accept it!
You may get the odd troll, but their banned!
And theirs no denying it, half the mods are a big part of the problem!
Locking threads like theirs no tomorrow, im not gonna say no names but their are plenty of em who think the forums theirs to dictate. like their opinions mean more than everyone else.

I can see your point. This is not to express. I believe you missed the entire point if that is how you feel about it. It is to point out the obvious and to get people back in the game. ALREADY more members are posting more suggestions and coming up with more ideas. Members who haven't done so in a while.

This is not people simply expressing themselves. You had to have noticed the bad shape the community is in. This is to bring everything back to the way it was.
If you remember that or not, it should be the same equal goal for people who care.

As I have said before, people who do not see it do not belong on these forums. They are part of the reason for why the community has gone downhill.
The purpose is the game, THIS game to be specific. There needs to be people breathing life back into the community for the game.

I think forums are dying out, many good members left or been very inactive, the SCP:CB development is slowing down as Regalis has a life and his other job. This is a perfect moment to say, that SCP:CB was my damn perfect horror indie game. Regalis is still doing something important, we can't just rush him to update the game so very quickly. Well, the update just came out 1 month ago... We can't just make Regalis do the update so quickly. We need more patience and wait, or contribute/support the game by making models, sound effects, SCPs, etc. Look at SCP-650 project, it's dead meat. Why can't they just make up the model and send it to Regalis? Is that even hard? The time passed out and no progress at all... About SCP-860 - I saw this project active just some months ago, and now this: MonocleBios is busy doing something important or helping the multiplayer mod for SCP:CB... or Miro doing the Unity conversion of SCP:CB. I still wonder what's the progress for 860. SCP-513 project came for me unsuccessfully because of my many lifework and because modelling is hard, but I do hope 513 will be in next update.

General Off-Topic thought? I do ignore it. Well, that isn't that kind of important, but I don't want any trouble anymore with you all again. I hate the people who insult, set up flamewars and troll on the general off-topic. They need to learn respect, not be angry towards any that guy. Many people from containment breach wikia started to make a poll of "what do you think of the official SCP:CB forum?" and didn't have heart for the forum.

Let's revive the forum again. Discuss on suggestions, SCPs or etc., or help our developer by using sounds, models, etc.
