I actually do not care for these sorts of things, it's just a number ofcourse and competition brings out the worst in people a lot of times.

That list means nothing, someone could just post random non sensicle posts and get that high on the list. Also Regalis is the biggest contributor (Since he is making the game) and he is not on the list.

Well, contribution is not the right word, I think he meant the highest post counters. Of course most of my posts are real quick and heavy in number, but have no meaning. Like this one!

Meh. It's just post count. Creative, good thought posts which have some value are better.

Those are harder to calculate ;) I would pretty much have to do that by hand. I may do that when I have some free time a bit later on. What should constitute as a "good contribution"?

Obviously not "LOL trolololololoo" kinds of posts. Would I only count posts dealing with SCP:CB? What about a post answering a question on, say, Firefox that you can tell they took a lot of meaningful time to type up?

IDK, help me come up with some stuff that would count if you want.

EDIT: Feel free to let me know what you think of the above idea, but I think a rating system could do that for us. (Although then you would have people rating dumb posts as a 5 so ugh idk)

EDIT 2: Perhaps ratings could be disabled on "trolololo" threads. (LOL I'm putting way too much thought into something that probably won't even happen. Regalis hasn't even impelmented the embed YouTube script yet that somebody popular like WhiteAce or SteelPoint sent him a link to on the first day)

But I think it might be an alright idea to encourage people to do their best on posts.

I don't think having to rate posts is nesessary. I mean, yeah, its cool when someone contributes something useful, but making it something which requires votes and stuff is just useless. We don't need votes to know what a good comment is, and what it isn't.

Well duh but the idea was to keep track of who has made the number of best contributions.
