See, the shocking amount of optimism is what really hooked me. You don't see that much, anywhere actually. Another thing that got my attention, as Xander put it, was the minor sexual innuendos. Applejack making weird noises offscreen in apple buck season was funny, and so was twilights sleepover book. Think Mary and woody from toy story, you won't get it until you're older.

It is just really fun to watch. Its like when you watch a comedy show. You dont always expect the unexpected. It makes funny twists and turns. And the fact the charectors are always happy seem to lighten your heart. i dont get it... But I seriously like the show. It seems like a happy show to cheer up bad times. ya know?

Thank you all for the great feedback! Especially Xander who took the time to write out a good bit on it. I'm impressed. I may just have to check it all out sometime. (Also I did watch the two videos you mentioned. It truly does seem to be one of the higher quality animated shows.) I was wondering about the whole Brony thing and now I think I better understand where you all are coming from.

But to all the haters... Don't bother with any MLP/Brony threads if you're just going to hate on it. Simple as that. Some people here clearly have an emotional attachment to it (safe to say?) and its rude to bash something just because you don't get it.

Yes, it's safe to say. I'm likely going to have a soft spot for the show until I die, it's not too often you find a gem this good. Boy will I be sad when the series ends, I predict a 7 or 8 season run, not unlike the batman animated series.

It seems like a happy show to cheer up bad times. ya know?

I don't really hate the show, its just that people spread it all over and ends up in my community. Then people tells them to stop and then it all explodes. If you like something the entire community likes then put it on a forum made specificly for it. I am tired of seeing pony pr0nz in some places. (and i wash my eyes thoroughly)

I watch it because I can. Just try'n stop me.
