It does throw the creator off, discredits him, makes his point seem weak and silly. And it wasn't even an argument why this isn't interesting for this person, it is a discussion killer, and i don't like that. I want to encourage discussion, not end it, even if i disagree with the general opinion.

On topic: I only got mass effect 3 and battlefield 3 (which I don't really play) so I don't have much experience with them. As for Nintendo, they really do just sell the same thing over and over again. The thing about Nintendo is that they basically saved the industry with Mario so they are not so much of a threat (kind of like link from legend of zelda, he saved the world over and over again, he might have some right to climb through your windows (snachin yo people up) take some of your money, and break your pots)

I don't like EA because of their ridiculous business practices but BoA seems more deserving of that title.
