I once had an actual Crush on someone who was my age when I was 12. I gave her a Rose.

But I never went on dates or anything like that. I just don't bother with those kinds of things.

Besides. These days, It's all really " Lust ". Not " Love ".

Love is falling for someone who you've known for a very long time. Someone you can trust. Someone who knows how you feel and they feel the same about you.

Lust is just wanting to go out with someone because they look " Hot ".

I blame Disney Channel and all those Teen Shows.

Ever since Hannah Montana, It's been nothing but the same thing over and over again.

Like so.

" Oh my gosh, That Girl is like so hot so I'm gonna go slap my best friend in the face and lie to them. Then I am going to steal some Money from my Parents and lie to this Girl and tell her I am a Celebrity and related to Justine Baber who is so not a rip off of another teenager. Of course, I always win because I am a perfect teen and we teens run this world and all dads are overweight and all mums are wannabes and all older siblings are trying to be smart and all little siblings are annoying and oh my gosh, My cell phone got taken away and now my life is ruined. So I will sing and sing and dance and take off all my shirts because it is so appropriate for 6 year olds which is 98% of my fan base. "

I agree about it being more lust than love these days (especially considering that it doesn't seem to exist), and there was so much Disney hate there that it took a while for my brain to absorb it all, but yeah that is pretty accurate.

It's a cute thing to do at that age. Although I admit that'd take some balls. I remember having a couple girl friends during middle school. Although I never really enjoyed any of the relationships. So I believed that I was not interested in either guys or chicks, romantically or sexually. Although I've been feeling lonely lately. You might not really care at age 13 or 14. But it'll get to you dude.

I agree with that 100% firefox, if I ever date someone, I'm going to judge them based on their personality, because quite a lot of girls in my school are nice looking, but have awful awful personalities
