If he was in the corner of your right eye and you blinked it but kept the other open, he would move to exactly right before the vision in your open eye starts. Similar to the HUD map in Deus Ex, you can move anywhere except the "cone" areas which is the guards' or camera view. Moving inside the cone means they can now spot you.
Closing one eye makes the "cone" smaller, yes, but it doesn't make it totally disappear.

The reason I said that is because nobody is talking about the original topic anymore.
I was the only one keeping it on topic except for that post you just quoted. However, my post about SCP-173 on the previous page was completely ignored even when I posted it twice. But I'm the one you're singling out? Wow... Today is not my day...
