I hate the glitches in that game... I got to the lake part today too. Anyways, the fuses, doorknob, and key in the sever thing by the lakehouse where he comes,
all of those if you have a full-inventory, trigger the event but you still have to pick it up. And you get murdered.

I died at the part beforehand because of that.
