Actually I think it's:

1. Maybe they couldn't due to the whole haunted scenario/ they didn't even think it was a problem.
2. The camera is equipped with a flashlight that can be activated remotely.
3. But the murders had to have happened by 2 in order for the old animatronics to be like they are. Children are stupid so of course it fools their spirits.

3. remember that the old bots were retrofitted with the sotfware of the toy bots, so they were faulty too, the murders happened sometime bewteen night 6, 7 and the shutdown of the pizzera of 2 me thinks

Ive seen some post on steam discussions(its probably deleted now I cant find it) that the new animatronic wont actually kill you,he will just creep into your office and scare you which will make you black out.When you awake one part of the animatronics from the box will be gone and what I think the new animatronic will start rebuilding the animatronics one by one simply by collecting their parts from the box.Once one animatronic is finished he will let it kill you and will proceed to your office again for another part of the animatronic.
