So from what I heard from last time they are going to tear down any existing content that contains copyright, so that would put out artists, youtubers, composers, writers, Cyanide and Happiness...

From what I gather, this isn't the first dreadful mistake the US government has made of this category. If this is true, I hope that SOPA passing will be enough motivation to cause a good ol' revolution. Maybe riots or at least outright defiance and refusal to work until something is done. Whatever results from this mess, it will make the US very, VERY unpopular overseas.
