I wouldn't want it supporting me on the ground if it lacks a Bigass cannon.

let me put it this way.


Mechs: 1.2m - 2m each

Tanks: 15m - 30m each

if the enemy has 100 of the best tanks japan would send out 1500 Mechs

1500 mechs would whipe the floor with 100 tanks.

Mechs will eventually replace tanks.

One thing.......Why would ANYONE want that?
It's a Bigass Target because it stands up-right.
It probably eats ammo like nothing.
It probably lacks decent armor.
And it doesn't have treads.....Which decreases it's mobility.
Then again it IS probably just a Prototype....

Edit:You know what we REALLY need....? A Baneblade Super-Heavy Tank. That monster is bigger than 3 modern tanks combined...

Let's have a good discussion on mechas, why are they a good idea at all? They're basically a tank on legs but they're barely practical for anything. A mech that size wouldn't have too much armour on it and the pilot is quite exposed to danger. Some say that they're good for bad terrain, but that's what tank treads and footsoldiers are for. Thoughts?

Walking Mechs=Useless.
If I where in Command of a Company of Troops and we where given some of those.....I would use the Mechs as bait....After I take the Pilots out, of-course.
Men don't deserve to die because their Vehicle sucks.
