Found this on Reddit... I dunno what to think. Disappointed it's 173 though, there's over a thousand to choice from, and everyone picks the easiest one... Anyway, still could be alright.

Re: Live Action SCP?
#2Out of the hundreds of brilliantly inspiring and creative entries...
They go with 173? Booo. At least work on one remotely interesting if you're going to pick a mainstream one, like 106 for example. Read Treats and tell me there's not a script just waiting to be executed. I could name 10 other SCPs that would make for a better film than 173.

It slep time bunner.
Re: Live Action SCP?
#3106 would be beautiful haha. Hell 96 would be great. 93 would be awesome. 15 could work well. God there is so much potential for anything. I just hope maybe 173 is like just the first episode or something.
Re: Live Action SCP?
#4SCP-173 is super easy to understand for new viewers, and it's also one of the most practical SCPs to make scenes with. How would you move 106 around? And what about the black mold, how is he going to capture people into his pocket dimension etc etc, lot's of problems. Scp 173? Place it in the corner and you still got tension, plot that has consistent logic and a threat. You are able to work much faster and create more material then with most other SCPs, even though they are more interesting.
I AM A HUGE ATTENTION WHORE.
Re: Live Action SCP?
#5096? As long as its face is never in view of the camera, I'd say a live action film of it would be almost perfect. Being 2 meters tall, though, 096 would have to be animated with CGI. I'm pretty sure most people aren't that tall.Agent Shlocky wrote:106 would be beautiful haha. Hell 96 would be great. 93 would be awesome. 15 could work well. Re: Live Action SCP?
#6Yes, yes, I'm a smartass. 096 is aproximately 2,38 meters tall. So far all we know he could be taller or smaller. We don't even know if he really walks in a crouched or upright manner
But yeah, I doubt they can find anyone that tall, anorexic and pale as all hell. Putting the actor on stilts wouldn't work either as ... ... ..as 096 is butt-ass naked...
Damn.
106 would be a good SCP for that. Hell, even 049, my former favorite.
Although I'm sure I'd miss Volgun's voice.
682 would be funny to me.... I've seen those movies about this mutated giant crocodile-thingie recently, and I couldn't help but be reminded of a retarded 682 cousin.

Re: Live Action SCP?
#7173's pretty cool, but I agree that there are much better (and scarier) objects. He gets a free ride simply because he's the first SCP ever made.
Out of all the SCPs, the one who has genuinely, afraid-he-might-be-hiding-in-the-darkness disturbed me is 106. Unlike the unnaturally tall and thin 096, it is perfectly possible to create a convincing Larry; you just need a really, really good costume design and appropriate lighting. With a combination of CG and creative camera work, you can even make it look like he's walking through walls and pulling victims through them.
Unlike 173, who is almost entirely atmosphere-based, 106 has the capacity to be truly terrifying if done right. One of my favourite things about the Foundation is how any Keter-class object is a thousand times scarier than anything else in horror films nowadays.
