so, i heard about the SkypeCP thing and i have an idea for you guys. its scp server!

what is scp server:

well, a minecrafted version of scp foundation.

oh okay but, how about the scp's?

we could use scp minecraft mod like this:

i'm just doing this because i care about you guys. so i'm open to any objection or endorsement

It... seems interesting. A Minecraft Server where we could all "chat" would be cool, but that Mod is INSANELY old. It's also unstable. And besides, I don't think I would get used to Minecraft Version 1.4.6, though.


EDIT: I re-read it again. I thought you meant a server where we could build and such WITH the mod. Sorry.

The Idea seems alright. I mean, it would be awkward with the amount of people, but what the hell.

Anyway, this concept was already attempted about 2 or 3 years ago. Ultimately it never worked, but if anyone on the forums is willing to open a new(hopefully 24/7) server, then they have every right to.

Thinking back on this, I would like to see it happen again, but in my current situation I would be unable to host it myself and I would prefer the server to be 24/7. If anyone has the capabilities to do these things I would see no problem in reviving this idea.
