Memes cause effects when the information that carries them is introduced into your brain, it can cause have a delay but once the meme has entered you there is no escape except, and only in some cases, memory wipes. 053 effects are causes by prolonged exposure even if you don't see or touch her, going by what the article says 053 can affect you even if you are unaware of her existence, just by being near it.

Then we have the inmortality, regeneration, being friends with 682.

I would say that 053 abilities are just an anomaly, like 173, with no explanation even for the foundation.
God is perfect -> Nobody is perfect -> I'm nobody --> I'm perfect --> I'm God.

Heh heh... *Ahem*

Anyway, I have an idea for an SCP. In fact, it's in it's own ending. Gate C. What happens is, when you're one room away from Gate C, SCP-343 ("God") appears in front of you like the Chaos Insurgency did. He then speaks the following: "Ah, you must be the mortal who wishes to escape this insane asylum, hm? I, too, feel as if this should stop, though I have no power over it. Just ahead of you is one of your only ways out. Make haste to it, and run from the one hunting you down... You don't know you
re being chased by (For this, there would me different sound files containing him saying either 173, 106 unless contained, 096, Nine Tailed Fox, or 682.)? Then make more haste, or surely you won't last to see the sun." He dis-appears. Run from whatever chases you, then enter the elevator to Gate C. (106 is disabled after entering if being chased by him. So is 096 since he teleports, thus, making it impossible to survive.) You arrive in what looks like Gate A, only the door ahead is locked. You must use a keycard to open it. When the door opens, the guards aim their weapons at you. Suddenly, the floor shakes, and the guards draw their attention to above the gate. A mass of gears breaks through the ceiling in front of you. Yep, boss battle. SCP-882-079 to be exact (079 on top of 882). 882-079 rips of a chunk of the floor, and 096 gets out of the hole. Pieces of ceiling act as bridges. After crossing one bridge, it falls apart. 096 goes crazy, and attempts to go through 882-079. 096 falls through a hole and rips off a piece of 882-079. Nine Tailed Fox gets in the way, and dies, dropping his gun. F*** yeah. Pick up the gun, and shoot 079's monitor. It breaks, and 079's face becomes distorted. The gun is out of ammo, sadly. 106 comes out of the floor. This is wear you're just starting to mock the boss. Make it to were 106 goes through the boss 3 times. The boss falls over, and attempts to get up for some time. 079's monitor electrocutes 106, causing him to retreat. If 106 is contained, 682 appears. Same thing, lure 682 to smash through 882-079, and eventually it will retreat and head for Gate B. During 882-079's attempts to get back up, 173 appears after you blink. Lure 173 to one side of 079's monitor, then blink. 079's monitor is now badly damaged, and liquid crystal leaks out. Final phase. 882-079 is ticked, an it rolls around. Dodge it while you can, then wait for the right time, grab a gun from yet another deceased Nine Tailed Fox. Shoot the monitor one last time. The bullet goes through the monitor, and "pushes" the incredibly unstable floor and makes the boss fall to it's "death". You survive the fall, and you are admitted to it's clinic and healed of your wounds. O5-4 looks over you. "Good, you're awake. Class-D, for your bravery, endurance, and willpower, you have proved worthy of becoming a Class-O5. O5-14, to be exact. Congratulations. Now, return to your quarters. It's getting late."

It fades to the 'achievements' window.

Tell me what you think.

Too good, unfortunately.

That ceiling part, as epic as it sounds, seems a bit unrealistic, I mean, how would the ceiling fall to specifically serve the purpose of a bridge?

Adding SCP-096 to the scene would make it extremely hard and frustrating, as seeing it's face will cause it to freak out and kill you.

SCP-173 is, apparently, sentient, it wouldn't make the effort of destroying a relatively small object if it's goal is only to murder you (SCP-079 can't "see" so SCP-173 isn't disturbed by it)

Combining SCP-882 with SCP-079 would probably break SCP-079, therefore making it useless (and that would suck for the Foundation, breaking such a complicated AI)

Guns? No, and even more "No" if you can use them against SCPs.

And the final part, about making a Class-D into an O5... it's like turning a slave into the king! Even if you suddenly turn into a hero, the Foundation wouldn't make such a drastic move. They wouldn't offer you are job, because even if you saved several lives and the secrecy of the Foundation, you destroyed an SCP, and the goal is to secure, contain and protect. They'd probably just give you an amnesiac to have you forget all that happened to let you free afterwards, or even terminate you.

I don't dislike the idea, in fact I'd enjoy it, but it doesn't make much sense when it comes to SCP. And all that is mainly action, not so much horror.

I agree with pretty much everything that jaunjpro said above. Especially about the O5 part, that was pretty ridiculous. Also combining 079 with 882 to create some huge, mechanical and gear oriented elderitch beast is almost like an insult to 079 as a character, since its known not for its strength, but its intelligence. It reminds me of the JonTron video about horrible bosses and how they made the Joker into a brute in one of the Arkham Asylum games for the final boss.
It slep time bunner.

Yeah. Maybe I could change it up a bit.

For now, we'll just stick with no boss. Unless they script SCP-682 to chase the player soon (Did they say they would or was that a rumor?).

Anyway, thanks for the honesty.

Although it is not a creature, I would love to see SCP-212. (http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-212) I'm thinking that it would have a high chance of killing the player, specifically 47% chance. If it does not kill, it will give the player large amounts of bleeding and one or more enhancements.

Some possible enhancement could be:
- Faster blinks
- More time between blinking
- Run longer
- Run faster
- More health
- Able to see better in the dark
- Does not need Gas Mask
- More inventory space.

There could also be negative sides to each of these.
