Thanks for the code list - I'm slightly embarrassed I couldn't find that on my own.

How can i turn off the FPS monitor (top left) ?
MonocleBios wrote:I can write a command that forces the fps regulator to slow down all time related computations without sacrificing overall frame flow. Is that good enough?
If it's not too much trouble that would be great - if you do write it ... would it be a command i could just use or would i need to download anything in order for it to work?

Thanks for everyones help to date.

Don't be embarrassed. The console isn't exactly the most obvious thing in the game.

As for the FPS meter, I suppose you could just crop that out in the video editing.

Code: Select all

Omniary: fuck you anglerfish can't smell
Dr. Trialtrex21: how you know bitch
Omniary: it probably could smell you though
could probably smell your fucking dank ass nasty powersuit structure gel trog ass enslaved protein bullshit sloshing in your suit from a mile away

Thanks, that worked great.

Sorry to keep asking questions - but this one didn't occur to me until I started recording.

Is it possible to turn blinking off for filming purposes?

Volgun. All I want to say is your voice is incredible for voice acting. (especially for SCP 012 and 049)

And I am also looking forward for your trailer.

And how to disable blinking? Don't know or just delete blinking assets or find anything about it on options file....

Oh and I noticed it's your birthday. Happy bday.

Regards,
You would have to download a modified client with the added commands(Roughly 5 MB). I'll get on that after school, I should be able to disable the blinking mechanic as well.
M-x dingus-mode

Here's the modified client: http://www.mediafire.com/?7f9udbtntgw33i6
As some have said above, F3 opens the console. The two additional commands are 'framemult #' and 'noblink on/off'
For example, 'framemult 0.5' will cause the game to run at 1/2 speed while maintaining appropriate fps.
'noblink on' is more intuitive, as it freezes the blink counter and for extra measures forces the blink overlay to be transparent.
