And the game works at a good 56-60 FPS. Even with fraps working.

I actually tried running it on a 2003 Compaq with no graphics card with 0.6.6. It gets anywhere from 6-14 FPS when in 800 x 600 windowed. I played for a few minutes, then quit because it was so bad.

My sister has a laptop that I used to own (Dell Latitude D620), it's 8 years old and can run SCPCB at a good 30 FPS.
Specs:
Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz
3GB 533MHz DDR2 RAM
120GB 5400RPM HD
Integrated graphics (Intel Media Accelerator 950)

Seems that Blitzmax likes older hardware, considering the age of the engine.
I'm gonna study up on the engine and see what I can find.

Actually, my pc haves fps drops with fraps when i go to smoke hallaway or three roads hallaway. also in the intro the fps is near 8-10 fps. with or without fraps.

the best fps in scp is obtained adquiring a good proccesor or ram or just video?

It works fine on 2gb of ddr400 but gets an access voilation on 4gb of ddr2
Wont know why...

A little higher than minimum, should be able to run the game at a solid 30FPS...
