There was not very much left, in fact Gale knew that the last few chambers would only lead to the science department. Nothing but a hospital in progress. The forces behind him sounded uneasy, and yet they were sure of themselves. they were good people, the kind that always had your back, no matter what. And yet now, it seemed that would not be so.
Gale stopped at a set of double doors that were fooged by age. However, looking at the bottom of the glass pane, he saw the form of an ugly being. He knew exactly what it was, he'd even seen the addendum concerning the D-303s. He crouched down, making sure not to touch the door and attempted to look at the thing with visible fear.
"303, you'd better let me in right-" he heard his voice crack, just looking at it made him feel like running away. The men behind him were also making an effort to not run. Gale cleared his throat and said, "I need entrance here, please, let me in-" Gale stopped. The thing glanced behind him, and Gale followed his gaze. Despite the foggy glass, he saw that beyond was not a corridor, but a moon-lit land of rubble and buildings. It looked back, and he glimpsed sorrow in its face. Gale felt his nails pierce the skin in his hands.
"Guys, go back and find Captain Grevik, right now." They were quick to follow orders, and soon they were gone. The thing had dissipated from sight. Gale stood up and tried the door, only vaguely noticing the blood that had wiped on from his hands. He opened the door and
found a world that I knew. I know it well, but how? I have to remember. I look around me and I find a city that has been shelled beyond comparison. I look back and the door... where did I come from? I look at myself, I'm bleeding slightly from several areas, but it isn't that bad. Nothing that few bandages can fix. I'm not wearing the armour from Delta.. Delta what? Wait, what? The words are slipping from my mind, I can't remember. I'm wearing a greenish vest of a sort, and M4 strapped to my side, I feel like a Marine. Actually, I am. I remember now, I'm here in... well, the name will come later.
I look down, there is a manhole, it's moving. It opens and a man is trying to come out. I give him a hand and pull him up. He's a man just my height, blonde hair, a cut up yet, distinctly friendly face.
"Gale, I din't expect you to survive after that. It's good to see-" He is interrupted, when I pull him into a hug. He's confused for a moment, than hugs backs. I don't understand why, but I feel tears in my eyes. Why? What happened that is causing me grief? Surely I must be mistaken. I wipe my eyes and say, "We should probably check on Third Platoon, eh, Brutus? They're probably worried sick 'bout us.
Re: SCP Forum Roleplay
#372The man stared at him.
"Fuck you! God damn Foundation pig."
Slade sliced the blade up the man's leg slowly. He screamed. Slade opened the salt and rubbed the man's wound.
"Ready to talk?"
He punched the mans leg, hard.
"Fu-Fuck you."
Slade repeated the cut and salt method on about 5 more places. He gave him the adrenalin so he wouldn't pass out.
"Come on man, its not worth it, tell me what the fuck is going on here!"
He poured acid on the man's eyes.

Re: SCP Forum Roleplay
#373Outiside, four men in MTF vests were looking about, trying to find a certain Captain. After looking about and asking several UIU, they found him. As soon as they entered the room, one member puked at the sight of the acid in the man's eyes.
"Captain Grevik, we have need of you, Technical Sergeant Gale is in need of your assistance!
((Don't arrive just yet, I still have something planned. Perhaps wait at the double doors. Don't worry, Slade won't find 303 or a destroyed city, just a normal corridor))

Re: SCP Forum Roleplay
#374"Now? Alright one second."
He turned back to the man.
"Okay, tell me who's in charge and where he is, or I'll pour this whole fucking jar on you."
"No, STOP!!! Fuck, I'll fu-f-fucking tell you. The m-man in charge is Commander Kale... He-he's on the fifth floor, in the armory."
"Thanks, wasn't so hard was it? Alright I'll make this quick."
Slade unsheathed his knife and plunged it into the mans skull. Blood sprayed out, and he died instantly. He turned to the squad, and the UIU.
"Okay lets go find him. One of you get intel on a Commander Kale. Lets move."
They ran to the corridor, arriving at the double doors.
"Stack up and prepare to breach."
They all aimed their guns at the door. Suddenly a Delta-7 member ran up.
"Sir, Kale is a high ranking officer in the Chaos Insurgency, If he's here, it's big."
"Okay, good to know. Thanks lad."
"There's something else you should know. He was responsible for the Foundation family murders a few years back."
Slade's eyes widened and his grip tightened.
"What!... okay, okay. First we're going to save Gale, then we're going to fucking tear out that mans heart!"
He turned back to the man.

Re: SCP Forum Roleplay
#375(Dr. Lavrov had left the radio room to get some coffee. Upon returning he heard the radio come on, talking the involvement of the UIU. The UIU, what a joke they were. They know it, too. They can't handle the Insurgency like the Foundation's more well-equipped teams could. He saw everyone still in there: Lowrey, Baton, Trex, Arianna, and Kleman. He sat next to Kelman and slipped off his labcoat and button-up shirt, leaving him with only his new, white undershirt to be seen which conflicted with his army green pants. He tapped Kleman on the shoulder and extended his hand.)
Dr. Lavrov: "Greetings, I am Dr. Lavrov. I apologize for earlier that I didn't get to introduce myself properly. Kleman, correct? You must be new here."
(Lavrov sort of had a cold smile on his face. Falsified happiness but friendly nonetheless.)

#376"Actually, it's 'Kelman.' Nice to meet you, Dr. Lavrov," he said. Having introduced himself in a hurry when they first met, Kelman could understand how Lavrov got his name slightly wrong. He reached out and shook his hand.

#377~" hey Kelman, i haven´t heard about you in the past. Tell me something interesting about you, im very curious about your... Character"~ Mestir said through the radio.
Re: SCP Forum Roleplay
#378"Funny story, actually," Dr. Kelman said. "I was a paranormal researcher before I came here. I found something about the Foundation in my work. It was almost published before these people came to me and gave me a choice: forget everything or come with them. I thought it was a simple choice, but now with these containment breaches, I'm starting to have second thoughts." He sighed. "Oh well, I'm here anyway, so I might as well just go with it."

#379~"Paranormal research you say? Finally someone wis a interesting job over here, i vas a paranormal researcher in the past, a really exciting job! but... Well i kan´t talk about it anyvays, taking in konsideration that if i start talking about it will be zee destruction of zis site and it vill not be so nice... Haff you heard about GOC sir Kelman?"
Mestiar replied, but there was something wrong with the radio of Mestiar when he finished to talk, something like a white noise and a distortion of his voice making it more deep and grim, There was something really strange about Mestiar when he talk about paranormal things and he really knows a lot of thing for just 3 years at the foundation.

Re: SCP Forum Roleplay
#380I turn around to the absolutely shelled city. Nothing remains, it's been destroyed by some force, can't remember what the Colonel called'em. Doesn't matter. My brother looks very tired, probably hasn't slept. I feel very tired to, the moon's out, I need to hurry. There's a massive building coming up, I know it well. the hotel that has come up in memories.. what memories exactly? i can't remember what was before, there was something before, but it's all but gone from memory.
"There it is, brother. Echo Hotel, where the private forces have taken residence. Brutus says. I have no idea who they are, not even a distant memory-[/i]
CRACK!
We duck down, Brutus is the first to fire, I am too slow. When I look, I see a man wearing a black vest and the logo that may have suggested
Logic out of illogic
The destruction of another logo. I can't remember which, but this logo seemed like it could be slid together to make a cleaner one. I don't understand. The thought is gone, I don't know what it meant, and soon the words are gone. And just for a moment, I don't see rubble. The air burns with static as the body becomes surrounded by broken glass, double doors...
It's gone. I see my brother looks worried. He looks to me and tells me we should keep going. I think that 2nd squad is in there, we both know it. I remember the Colonel telling me about our squad being under fire, something about these private forces and Echo Hotel. I run into the massive receptionist area, it's holding nothing but chairs and empty cartridges. 2nd squad was here, we both know it. I run to past the reception and find the elevators.
"They're on the second landing, right?" he asks. I remember, somewhere on that landing, I reply, "Jah, but they're probably pushing in"
We run upstairs, and I find that it's actually empty. We start to go room to room, but nothing. I start to become worried. Halfway through this, Brutus breaks a door open. He runs in and nothing. I suddenly hear a shot, I run in. Glass breaking, I find on of these private forces, he punches the butt of his gun into my brother, and I watch him fall through the window. I don't waste time, but I waste a bullet on the bastard. I jump out, after all it was only one floor-
"AGH!" I scream, landing wrong on the ground. I try to pick myself up when I see another soldier above me. I grab my holstered pistol, but still, I take the slice of a bayonet in my arm. My God, it hurts, I didn't know they still used bayonets nowadays. I fire the pistol at the man and look to Brutus. Another soldier had begun to struggle with him, the gun parellel between the two. I barely stand on two legs, on that may be broken. I don't mind, I want to save my brother I aim and fire on the soldier.
He's limp, and only then do I notice the second form is limp. I drop the pistol and drop to the ground next to my brother. Knocking the other body, I check him. He's dead, I am certain that I am finally alone. I don't know what to do, I begin to sob. I will, begging for God to bring back my brother.I do not how long I do this before wrenching myself back. I cannot believe this has happened, I cannot believe what I have done.
I sit there, I don't know how long. He is the only family I know. I look up, and the static occurs, but in a different matter, for and exact copy of me walking away. The static stops, and I look to my brother. 'Wouldn't it be great to take a pistol by the hand?' I take the pistol and aim. I think that I get what I deserve.
Click
A rush of air, I throw the pistol forward in anger, I watch it hit a mirror. Why that mirror is there, I cannot fathom. I look at it, and the static unfolds in the mirror. I do not see a cut Marine with his clothes soaked in tears and blood, but a
Delta-7 member sitting on the ground, surrounded by several corpses, a dirty gas mask strapped over his ugly face and an infected bite mark on his arm.
