Reason:
phpBB is a slightly less userfriendly and doesn't support as much BB code.

You would be able to get a dark theme and you can continue to use the same logo.

There are many add-ons for MyBB, such as a Shoutbox, an enhanced user page and soooooooooooooooo many more out there.

I don't see why to switch to myBB, unless steward of the forum or Regalis decides.
I'm perfectly fine with phpBB, so aa recent server change doesn't give 503 Errors.
What's so bad with this layout?
