An idea for SCP-895

#1
I had a quick little thought about 895's presence in the game, it is somewhat pointless. What my idea here is, why not have some of the screens in other parts of the facility show the camera view of 895. It would have more of a use in the game if you have to not look at some screens in the offices.

I know that it could be a little obnoxious though to keep having to avoid looking at particular screens in the facility, but I find it necessary because 895 isn't used as much as it should.

There could also be a reason to enter it's containment chamber as well. I think the camera for 895 should be able to get destroyed if this idea gets into the game. That way you have a reason to go down to it, destroy the camera, and stop the computer screens from showing the footage of it.

No way buddy. It has to remain canon. The coffin only affects things withing a range of 50 meters only. May want to read up more on the SCP wiki before suggesting something...

It would still be canon because the camera is always close by. The distance of the screen showing the feed does not matter. 895 could be at the North Pole with a camera pointing at it, while I'm at the South Pole with a screen showing the feed. I would still be affected by it.

We should have a better keycard progression system. Make 895's screen harder to ignore and put a level 3 keycard behind the coffin. Then you can use that level 3 to open 106's sexy box dungeon to get a level 4, use it on the head office to get a 5, you get what I'm saying.

You're misinterpreting what is being said. The camera feed is affected by the very presence of the coffin, not the video feed itself. Yes, you are partially right. If a camera is viewing 895, then you'll still get the psychotic effects, but that feed itself doesn't affect the cameras around it. The coffin needs to be withing 50 meters of the electronic device(s) to be able to mess with it, unless that device is receiving feed directly from the chamber that 895 is located in. Thus rendering your idea, un-canon. Sorry to say it, but it's true Nashda.

Nonononono, you are not understanding. There would be the same camera in the same place observing 895. The video feed for that camera is just being displayed everywhere in the facility. It is still canon because the camera is still looking at the coffin from that 5m distance.

Keep it canon.
Only electronics near the coffin is affected.

And why would the foundation place multiple video screens of the coffin around the entire facility, when it already has an observation screen near it?
That is not how they do it.
They have an observation room near the SCP in question, nowhere else will there be a feed of said SCP.
Keep it canon.
What fun is there in making sense?
Now, if you will excuse me i have some chaos to wreak.

The camera that is recording 895 is still near the 895 but the monitor that is showing it can be anywhere.

Maybe 079 changes the monitors to show 895.

You just don't think creative.

This is off-topic, but you know the picture for SCP-895 that appears on it's document and all that, how did we take it without getting disturbing images? Magic?
Heheh, you said a bad word.

All of you guys really are special. Did you guys know that? Yes you guys are! Each in your own special way.
