How does this glitch occur? do the items fall because they spawn before the surface they stand on? Are the surfaces non-collidable?
I assumed that if an item fell off the world, the developers would make it that it re-spawns at it's origin. Provided it did not come from SCP-914, of course.

Or that if this problem could not be avoided, that we could make it not matter. Like an "Item Re-spawn" console command (only usable once per game, and only if the character has no items in their inventory). Upon activation, all items would be deleted, and all rooms would re-spawn their appropriate items. It could also remove all items in player's inventory, and reset SCP-914's event. It could be limited to only work if typed in in the first five minutes of game play... Annoying to find a new SCP's room, only to find that the only thing there is... the room.
p.s. Glitch exists for me, and I run a un-modified Toshiba Satellite P745. Still have Windows 7. All versions of game from 1.0.0, to 1.3.1 are bugged for me. Haven't tried earlier ones yet.

edit: it seems that 16 bit mode, worked out in the end. strange.
