106 Model

Is 106's current model the final one? I remember talk in the old forum of a new model that looked really good. Is his current one a placeholder or final?

Current one's definitely final, do you see how perfect it is? Mirocaine said it's only 3k polygons and the texture makes it look like it has a billion!

Thanks! I just kinda think he needs a better texture, I think he needs to have more of a gray-black color, looks a little orange or brown to me

Yes, I'd say it's final But not the texture. It definitely needs to be more.. black with a very vague purple + blue like 106's original picture on his article. He looks too brown I think. (Though in this version of 0.6.4 he also has some of his black clothing painted on him).

I agree, it's quite alright, but it doesn't highlight the essence of the original picture as much as it could. I really feel a big part of the original picture was the big, bug-like eyes, now he looks just like a Suitor from Amnesia. Oh, and for his edited texture to work better, I really think he needs to be brightened up. He's incredibly hard to see, even in the light, and it really detracts from the model itself. It might as well have the old model when he's so hard to see. Oh, and I think his bump mapping (or specular mapping, I honestly don't know too well) should be re-touched, to give him a more greasy and pasty look like in the original pic.

He's hard as hell to see if he's black/purple. He needs to be a lot more shiny, I agree.
