You're absolutely correct. 096's true speed would be expected to be that high. However, that sort of speed is game breaking and will cause alot of bugs in his pathing. (I've experimented with his speed before). If you make him that fast, he'll get stuck making turns and you won't even see his model because moving to quick.
A reasonable idea would be to make him infinitely increase in speed from 5.0. The speed increase should be fairly slow but he should be able to outrun you within 10 seconds of him chasing you. That will make it possible for him to move at ludicrous speeds but it won't happen unless you are VERY lucky.

Note the censor ASCII blocks takes up 3 characters. While I find that a bit OP, I honestly doubt that those speeds will be used in the game. It'd just look silly, and I'm sure 096 only needs to acquire such when encountering a very fast target, for which is a necessity to use it on. A nearby D-Class isn't too hard to reach.
It slep time bunner.

I completely agree. Giving him unbelievably high speeds is far too ridiculous and game breaking, despite it sticks to the article. However, I still think he should be slightly faster than the player with an upgraded gas mask. You aren't supposed to be able to get away from him after all. I find that speeds of 6.0 to 7.0 is perfect. He's not stupidly fast but will take a small amount of time to catch up to you unless you close doors excessively to slow him down. Also, I've seen evidence that you can run around him in a dead end room. I'm sure that's to do with the speed. But, at the end of the day, it's up to the developer whether he makes this sort of change, not me.

I think that the speed it alredy has is enough. By how the article talks about 096 I always thought that he would be faster the further away a victim is(since it never made an amazing feat of speed in the retrieval inciden, but always did if the victim was in a different place from him), and we are quite close.

Maybe he could progressibely speed up once the player creates a certain distance between them. It would make it progressibely harder to avoid, give the player a nasty surprise and show that 096 is capable of going much faster.
God is perfect -> Nobody is perfect -> I'm nobody --> I'm perfect --> I'm God.

The model, awesome, but 096 moves his feets like a retard xD And also Night you should fix how 096 spins when you look at him and he's like *Rage Mode : On" He spins without moving his feet, maybe making it more like the old model of 096 :) any other thing, awesome
WOOMY! *squid glibberish*
my water changed to this form by boiling, extensively used for the generation of mechanical power, for heating purposes, etc.

There are bunch of problems with this model, so that's not surprising, I guess you mean his legs, even though I don't see many problems with it I'll fix some other stuff that are related to it, maybe it'll make it better. The way it looks also depends on the speed, so I guess that speeding the whole animation would make it look a little better. :) As for the spinning, well, it wasn't my idea, Regalis did that, but I am making some changes with the way he is panicking anyway.

Who knows, probably, as for now, painting is far easier and better accomplished for me. :P

I probably didn't mention it, but I am working on a game(MMORPG) which is 2D with a couple of my friends.
