Hey Miro. I was wondering how development of 860-1 was coming along :) Would be happy to work on some assets for the forest. Does Blitz3D support alpha channels? Generally I create leaves, flowers, and other such things using targa files with embedded transparency maps.

EDIT: and here's a pad of stickynotes since I won't be able to contribute much today:

Yes, I believe BLITZ3D supports alpha channels, so Targa file format should be alright. Bushes and grass are good as well, there might be some 2D sprites as well for somethings or tree's in the distance, but that's a bit later from now.

That sticky pad looks really nice BTW, :) I think later on down the road in development all items from office desks (besides computers probably) should be able to be grabbed by the player, it would open up a lot of SCP-914 mayhem though..

Well the lead Developer (Regalis) is away for a few weeks due to Military Service, so we don't have an exact asset lead direction until he contacts back. But the community is well able to use the available source code to continue contributing to development while he's gone; I think the first post of this thread is about as close as it gets to a list. We're looking to make new rooms/etc for the game but no one knows where to start; I think I'll try and update the model request threads OP for more info.

There's more info on in this thread's first post regaurding pipelines I think:

If I could think of any other office supplies one could find in the facility, I'd say:

-A printer-
-Sharpies, or other pens/markers-
-Whiteboards (possibly with various writings on it in-game)-
-Bulletin boards-
-Manilla Folders-
-Crumpled paper-
-Styrofoam cups-

You don't have to do some, or any of these, but I think it'd be cool to see these in the game. :K
It slep time bunner.

We should PM Steelpoint to update the threads OP this list, perhaps add on a few more things? :S

Thank you for the kind words :)
Miro: This week is turning out to be quite busy, so I've only just started some basic models for the forest.
Some sticks and rocks:

And a stump which I am still shaping:

Everything is low-poly (Nothing over 150 faces so far) and 512x512 texture sizes. I put them in a scene with a ground texture and fog which resembles the one in the original picture to make things a bit easier to visualize.

Omniary: Nice suggestions! They all seem like they could have been in the facility offices, and are all fairly simple models to construct. I will give some of them a try later :)

EDITED the stump image, since the texture was not mapped correctly.

Looks awesome Risingstar :D -- I'm actually looking for appropriate textures for the low poly tree's I'm modelling for the forest. I have a placeholder bark texture right now; if you have any good textures PM me so I can get them implemented into the map tiles and model textures when I finish editing them in 3D World Studio.
