Aside from the fact that adding a torch was already heavily discussed in the old forums, alongside multiplayer and coming to the conclusion it wasn't worth implementing, THIS IS THE WRONG SUBFORUM FOR THIS DISCUSSION.

I know you're a new user, but come on! Is it really that hard to figure out that suggestions from fans DON'T go into the "Official News" subforum?

Please refrain from posting in the Official News subforum please.

I've also seen quite a few discussions on adding some form of a torch, and to be honest, you don't really need one. There's VERY few occasions where it is so dark you are disoriented rather than uncomfortable.

maybe we can be given a lantern which increases the fog distance for a brief while.
