How wide and long the forest will be in-game? Try to use the old end-rooms in previous versions to measure it. (for example, it is 30x20 end rooms.)
It's looking absolutely wonderful by the way!

Expedition one was only 574.147 feet (from meters) according to my calculations, so it'll take about 2-3 minutes to traverse the forest usually for your first time, however each subsequent entry results in [DATA EXPUNGED].
I also realized something horrifying about the article, poor Dr. ███ had that key materialize on his desk hundreds of feet from it's containment locker, I think the forest creature saw him and wanted him to come in next after the final expedition. I think the poor Subject Class-D was perhaps telling him before he ceased talking? 2spooks
Edit:
Base model for the door I've created, I think it fits as a good style for official foundation testing. I'm thinking of giving it a Brown or Cherrywood texture color.

Re: MODELING REQUESTS: SCP-860-1 (The Forest)
#223The door seems a little fancy for a testing door (a slolid slab of wood with a handle and keylock seems more logical), buuuut it does look good, and that's important too~
The concrete wall can be grey, yes. Maybe give some random marks on it as well; some old blood, dirt and grime.

Re: MODELING REQUESTS: SCP-860-1 (The Forest)
#224The foundation doesn't have to sacrifice fancyness for crazy utilitarian stuff. I like the door, it really isn't that fancy. You could find an equivalent cheaply from any home depot.Juicy wrote:Enma Ai wrote:The door seems a little fancy for a testing door

Re: MODELING REQUESTS: SCP-860-1 (The Forest)
#225Perhaps the wood could have signs of being very raw and unpolished. Wood shavings on the floor and assorted screws as well possibly.
It slep time bunner.
Re: MODELING REQUESTS: SCP-860-1 (The Forest)
#226A cool idea is on the other side of the door "the one that is in the forest" should have scratches all over the front of it, and maybe even carvings into the door saying "let me out!" or "help me!", even "its coming!". It would make the player aware that something is inside this dimension, and it is not a good thing.

#228Hey dont for get the key hole for the key
I'm bad at keeping my emotions bubbled and end up being perfect. It would have been trouble.
Re: MODELING REQUESTS: SCP-860-1 (The Forest)
#229Its a OBJ, so someone can easily add it in through blender.Gogert777 wrote:Hey dont for get the key hole for the key
