I would say so, Especialy necessary when in the maintenance tunnels or SCP-096's room, i can hardly see in any of those rooms.

EDIT: Didn't realise you were talking about the MTF D:

Im not sure about a usable flashlight, but if flashlights were implemented then i think the facility should be completely dark and only a few emergency lights should work, until you turn on the secondary lighting or something

I don't really like the idea of the player themself getting a lamp, or a torch, because quite frankly, they're unnecessary and a bit cliched at this point. D-9341 never often is put into a point in the game where he NEEDS the flashlight. Only moments I can think of is the maintenance tunnels.

However, I do like the idea of the MTF having a large beam shining over their heads, they blend in very well into the background and can really sneak up on you. Thinking of lights like that of the ones used in Hide.
It slep time bunner.

No, they would have visors capable of technologies like infared or night vision.
Weapons, a simple laser or a tactical flashlight could be used.

I suggested long ago that they would have a laser coming out of their gun that you'd have to avoid as a simple stealth system. That little detail never made it in but their should be some more visual identification, even though the game is extremely sound based, the models skins are too damn dark.

Yeah they should be a little more noticeable at the very least, but I think the lights would be cool because it would add more to sneaking, like Metal Gear Solid, so you know in what direction they are looking, and you can engage some clever sneaking around.

Also it is so difficult to take you serious Destructoid with that painting of Carlton rofl every time I read one of your posts Carlton just stares me down with a a serious rape vibe :?

Is there a real visor that has infrared or night vision? I thought those were limited to goggles and sights.
And it would be cool and would make sense for them to use but they are already over powered as it is, unless the flashbangs I read discussion on from an old thread were implemented, because then you would f*** those guys up.
All in all I like the mounted light idea just because the guys are practically invisible as it is.

So you walk into a room that has a 173 standing over a dead MTF. There are night vision goggles right by him, or possibly a flashlight, either one is good.
