I would add Black Ops 2 to my list of 'Looking forwards to games' but I am cautious when it comes to CoD, because I liked the look of mw3, but then I looked at gameplay and was like 'no, just no'.
And also the amount of MW3 players who go 'You can only be pro by spawn trapping the othe-WTF THEY KILLED WHEN I SPAWNED!' and other bug abusers, because in that way at least BLOPS is more balanced and less buggy.

I'd say my favorite game of all time has to be Psychonauts. Great game, story, characters, EVERY character has some kind of development. Tim Schafer is the head honcho behind it ((he did classic adventure games like Day of the Tentacle and and Grim Fandango)). The only thing that's bad about the game is that the game itself is kind of janky since it was Tim's first attempt at anything other than point-and-click adventure games. But if you want a good, funny story about psychics at a summer camp getting their brains stolen, the definitely give it a try! It's only $10USD on Steam, and there's a free demo available as well.

Once you get over the ridiculous learning curve, Dwarf Fortress is an amazing game.

>One of your dwarves is fishing with her son
>A carp appears and kills the little dwarf boy
>The mother becomes depressed
>Decide to cheer her up by doing some engravings in her room
>The engravers work is finished
>The depressed mother enters her room and immediately throws a tantrum
>Have a look at the engravings
>"Engraved on the wall is a finely-designed image of a carp eating [the name of the dwarf boy] by the River of Asdfgqw"
>Greentexting outside 4chan

Dat Dwarf Fortress text screen image.

My favorite games have to be:
Minecraft
PS3>LittleBigPlanet
World of Warcraft
Half-Life 1 + 2 + episodes (and too many mods to count)
Garry's Mod
DayZ
Team Fortress 2
PS2>Star Wars Battlefront 1 + 2
Left 4 Dead
Portal
SCP:Containment Breach
Star Wars Republic Commando + Star Wars Knights of The old Republic
Starcraft
Dawn of War (Warhammer 40k)
Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl (Only with Oblivion Lost 2.2 mod by Kanyhalos + team)
Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Yeah, those above games really shaped my view of everything on gaming, I couldn't forget them.

Dwarf fortress is indeed a fun, if not hard to figure out, game. Though I wish the User Interface was designed by someone from our dimension. I find the game far more enjoyable with a Texture Pack though.

Call of Duty I have little to care about, the last title I bought was Modern Warfare 2, though Black Ops 2 does look interesting, since Treyarch are slightly willing to push the envelope, I have no current intention to get it unless it proves to be a good game (Seriously, almost $100 to buy! Get real!).

I was always a fan of the Command and Conquer series up to C&C 4, I felt like it was trying to by Dawn of War 2, and failing.

Right now though I am having a lot of fun with the new XCOM game, I really like the original game and I am quite enjoying this new version.

ROBLOX (yes, it's spelled with full capitalization for some reason), SCP: Containment Breach, and Minecraft. Case in point. To bore the rest of you reading this post, I'm going to describe what I do in ROBLOX.

It ain't shit and roleplaying, but military. I'm in two American military groups, which are called the United States Special Forces (USSF for short, I'm a Sergeant which is the 5th rank), however USSF has too many noobs and the wrong people are chosen to go with higher ranks. I'm only staying there because I want to be a HR (high rank, which starts at Major) and because one of my absolute best friends in ROBLOX is a HR in USSF.

The other military group is less known but more strict, and I'm a Sergeant (E-5 it's called aswell) and it is further canon with the real US military. It even has branches, divisions and brigades, and I'm currently in the Army. I have a "personal trainer", if I could say that, and thanks to him I got to be a Sergeant.

In ROBLOX military groups you earn promotions by training (there are a few other ways too but training is the main reason), and the United States Military trainings have been VERY hard on me. However, I can take it. To all of you that insult me by my choice of playing ROBLOX, you have no idea what I'm running through.

If anyone would like to see my profile in ROBLOX? Here.

I know it's a cool story, and yes, I am a bro.

Are you TRYING To convert people to ROBLOX? If so then your failing for me, I wouldn't want to play ROBLOX. I would play Apocolpse Rising, if not for the fact I am getting WarZ and maybe Day Z, and as those are both full games which have sound and art assets made for the game.
