A few negative points then.
1. The game literally says "Fuck You" to the lore and the games fans on several occasions, and when one of the more likable characters points this out it is dismissed as "another story" or just ignored, I won't say exactly what happens to avoid spoilers.
2. The Alien AI, and to an extent the Human AI, is often laughable and dumb. Too often the Aliens will freeze in place or refuse to attack me at times, the devs claimed that the Aliens would take full advantage of the setting to attack the player, such as running into vents and hiding in the dark. But they never do, they almost always charge directly at the player. They Enemy Human AI is somewhat passable, but they tend to have god like aim and reaction times and often they were able to kill me by shooting through several walls.
3. If you move forward too fast for the games liking it will teleport your allies directly in front of you in a blue flash, which is annoying.
4. The boss battles are for the most part boring and pathetic cliches of other boss battles, the final battle is literally trying to sneak past it while pushing button, and the sneaking mechanics are almost broken. Another is simply to let it charge you, sidestep and shoot it in the back. The only boss battle that I found to be actually very fun was where you took control of a Power Loader and fought a bigger Alien in melee combat, I did enjoy smashing that Alien apart and your blows felt powerful.
I am not saying the game is completely terrible, it can be fun and the Multiplayer is enjoyably, but in comparison to what the Devs and promotional videos told us we were going to get, this is a big letdown. I feel that if you are not a fan of the Aliens series then you will find this to be a sub par game.
*EDIT* Another annoying thing I might point out is that several times, such as the final boss battle, the game will hit an error forcing you to restart. An example is that the final boss glitched out and made it impossible to defeat it since it was frozen, forcing me to restart the entire boss battle.
