Dr. ████: …How do you feel about water?

SCP-457: [[Emits a high-pitched scream of superheated air and presses body against blast shielding.]]

Dr. ████: Please move away from the window, or we will be forced to turn the sprinklers back on.

SCP-457: [[Backs away from the window, still screaming, hissing, and snapping.]]
If anyone has some decent sound effects I can post process the hell out of it, I would love to help mess around with the sound for this thing. :P

Yeah, I think the D-Classes in the intro could be given some dialogue, after all, they should be characterized more, they only barely come closer to real people after the camera-head test dummy models were replaced. I could imagine the D-Class on the right saying "What the.. hell.." in a real foreboding way as the containment doors open and you see 173 for the first time. Also, perhaps some lines if you get too close to them, telling you to back off perhaps. I think it'd be pretty neat.

Also, I think there should be some scientists in the intro sequence chatting below the catwalk, I've been waiting to see something like that for quite a while.
It slep time bunner.

Yeah, a few lines like this

D-1: Do you think something is gonna be wrong?
D-2: I don't think so, it's a high security facility after all!
D-1: Well, accidents can happen at an-*intercom starts*
*doors open*
D-1: What.....The.....Heck is that?!
D-2: Calm down dude! It's just a statue
*if you don't enter in a while
D-1: Buddy, gonna enter here?
*after doors open and blah blah blah eye contact with :173: *
D-1: Ehm, what does he means with "Direct eye contact*
D-2: I don't really kn----*lights out snap and snap* :173:
WOOMY! *squid glibberish*
my water changed to this form by boiling, extensively used for the generation of mechanical power, for heating purposes, etc.

Hello there!

I am an aspiring voice actor, and I was wondering if you have any positions available. Mostly I do RTS related works (my channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/TotalBunghole) but I plan on expanding into other genres for the purpose of crafting a full career.

I'm perfectly open to requests, as I have a lot of free time on my hands. While I would in particular like to voice an MTF Squad, 096, or 860-2 (Forest Monster), if you need me to do anything else I am more than willing. I've also been looking into creating ambient effects effects with my voice, if you're interested. You name it, I voice it! I just have one limitation: Female voices are nigh impossible for me.

Please get back to me as soon as possible! Thanks for considering me, as well!

I don't think it's a good idea to have a lot of dialogue with these D class personnel, as the intercom voice will be talking a lot - plus it will take away from the whole suspenseful/foreboding first encounter with scp 173. not to mention the personnel are talking in the next room before they get killed by 173 as well. however, i do think these intro personnel shouldn't be lifeless model placeholders, so how about something like:

D class to another (or 9341): you scared?
intercom voice: All D class personnel, please enter the containment chamber
D class: lets get this bullshit over with...
"Yes, it's a goddamn nuke, but if 682 survives and adapts we'd be boned beyond belief."

Yes, I agree. The class-D should talk monologues in the introductions, just a few words to let us know they are there. When there is a scene with a lot of dialogue, and the rest of the game is just a few lines at the time, it feels off. Very off. As if a person wanted a character to say something really badly that he just put it wherever he could.

Also, a lot of the game is about making you feel lonely, so if there is a lot of talk and people interacting with each other...well, a little bit of that loneliness is lost.

Well, that's for the most of the game. The intro is probably one of the exceptions, you're surrounded by people, lights and guards. I don't think too much dialog should be given to the Ds, I would actually think in that situation, they would talk to each other minimally, if at all. It'd be more awkward than anything, it's not like they've seen each other for much longer. But I think some personal lines that could be randomly selected could be interesting. As I said, one guy saying "What the hell?" in a really concerned tone, or the other saying "The hell is that thing supposed to be?" would be enough. Perhaps an awkward cough in the chamber, and finally a redone "wtf" line and scream to fit the characters.

Yes, that's what I meant. Make them comment about what is happening now. Swear, scream, get scared, etc.... All those things about seeing 173. What I'm saying is, don't make them start talking about their lives and how they got there. That information is not needed.
