Well i think that you should find Bottle of pills or inhalers that can "cure" the common cold or Asthma around some of the doctors offices, assuming they are doctors...Right?
And they might have extra use or something... like you put the inhaler into scp-914 on fine and make a stamina enhancer... or put scp-500 on coarse or 1:1 and get some cold pills...
Re: Cold Pills, Asthma inhalers?
#2This makes sense, seeing as how obviously some Foundation Personnel would have Asthma/The cold, but I don't know if I would want to put a grown man's astma inhaler in my mouth. Yuck.

#3You gotta do what you gotta do... If Putting some grown mans used worn-out inhaler in your mouth means increasing your chances to escape... I wont object.whathopercy wrote:This makes sense, seeing as how obviously some Foundation Personnel would have Asthma/The cold, but I don't know if I would want to put a grown man's astma inhaler in my mouth. #4You know, this thread is making me think that the facility needs a Medical wing or something. Clearly they would have a place like this since the chance for injuries during testing would be high. If this was implemented those items would most likely be found there.
Re: Cold Pills, Asthma inhalers?
#5There certainly could be a Medical Bay with a few Medical Items lying around. Not in Large Quantities.
But maybe 1 or 2 Small Medi Kits, Some Inhalers..
Of course, There would be things like Injections. Injecting yourself by accident with Anaesthetic would probably make you numb or sleepy.
Surely there would also be Toxic Items used for cleaning and sterilizing Medical Equipment. Not saying that the D-Class is stupid enough to drink Bleach or anything thuogh.

#6Yeah, I really like this idea the more I hear about it. It could also be useful to treat minor wounds like stopping bleeding, instead of dying by the wound. I love those ideas Firefox. I think this should be one of the new rooms added whenever Regalis moves to working on the facility design again.FireFox wrote:There certainly could be a Medical Bay with a few Medical Items lying around. #7The medical bay would be a good place for the Plague Doctor to hang around, but I'm not sure how he could be there and be in his cell at the same time.
Re: Cold Pills, Asthma inhalers?
#8Y'kno, it just so happens I was contemplating adding some kind of sedative in the game around a medical facility-type of room. Now I know the first aid kits already heal blood loss, but it would be a cool ability to snatch a syringe from an office an self-administer, to reduce blood pressure and pain and the like. Side effects could be blurry vision and a wobbly gait (along with a slow-beating heart sound effect).
Adrenaline shots that revive you/heighten your senses (and with all the opposite side effects of the sedative) would be cool too, but I don't know where the application would be...maybe this or a defibrillator could be used to revive a dying NPC for some reason??

Re: Cold Pills, Asthma inhalers?
#9Medical wing. Filled with several supplies, such as medkits, eyedrops, cold pills and painkillers (though the medkits also have them). Catch is: 049 is also scavenging the area, already has converted the main medical bay as his base of operations, and has as a matter of fact already converted the newly arrived patients into a huge army of zombie guards, scientists and maintenance staff all alike. He should actively patrol the area, and nearing his creations will awaken them. It would definitely add a risk to a huge stash of medical and healing supplies.Stormy wrote:You know, this thread is making me think that the facility needs a Medical wing or something. #10Zombie hospital, I f**king love it!! Only question is whether or not that's canon, but it seems to be.Omniary wrote:Medical wing.
